April 2019 - Council close Brockwell Park Bowls Club due to cost issues
February 2023 - Proposal submitted to Lambeth Council by London Lawn Sports for croquet & bowls club
November 2025 - Renewed effort to re-open the bowls lawn for the community
The abandoned bowls lawn in Brockwell Park is located in the centre of the park between the tennis courts and then BMX track. The space has been abandoned since 2019 and in need to rejuvenation.
